Shipping policy

 

Due to the bespoke nature of our products, Weber Workshops’ policy is to dispatch within 2-3 business days after an order is received.

When there is an unusually large influx of orders, such as immediately following a new product announcement, this time may be extended by a few days as we catch up. Delays due to carriers, customs and import issues, and strikes can and will occur and are unfortunately out of the control of WW. We will assist when possible in resolving these issues but we can not be held responsible for third party delays. Please bear this in mind when choosing a budget carrier such as USPS, since resolving issues can be a lengthly process.

Duties and Sales Tax

Applicable sales tax, VAT, GST, import duties, and other government charges are calculated based on the products ordered, the shipment’s origin, and the delivery destination and are part of the purchase price.

Global-e acts as Weber Workshops’ merchant of record and manages payment processing and the calculation of applicable taxes and import charges.

Where duties and taxes are prepaid or included in the purchase price, no additional duties or taxes should be collected upon delivery. Where prepayment is not available, the checkout will indicate this, and the customer will be responsible for paying any applicable import duties, taxes, customs-clearance charges, or similar fees directly to the carrier or relevant authority.

For orders shipped within the United States, applicable state and local sales taxes are calculated and collected at checkout. Weber Workshops cannot currently process tax-exempt purchases at checkout. Eligible tax-exempt purchasers may contact us after placing an order and provide the required documentation to request a review and refund of qualifying sales tax.

Although Weber Workshops is a US-based company, orders are fulfilled regionally. Orders delivered within the United States ship from our US warehouse; orders delivered within Taiwan ship from Taiwan; orders delivered within the European Union ship from Germany; and orders delivered within Japan ship from Japan. Orders to all other destinations are fulfilled from our warehouse in Taiwan.

Available shipping methods and applicable taxes or import charges will be shown at checkout.

Weber Workshops and its fulfillment partners will provide the standard documentation required for shipment and customs clearance. Customers remain responsible for providing accurate delivery information and responding promptly to any requests from the carrier or customs authorities.
