Christian, our first staff Q-grader, started out a young barista competitor before barista competitions were really a thing. He found himself at a big German coffee grinder manufacturer before deciding that greener pastures awaited him in ... green coffee trade. But alas the machines won his heart, and he joined his long-lost German-American comrade to head up the WW office in Hamburg, Germany.
